The Louvre

The Louvre has many complicated rules about who gets what discount on what day and time. For example, Liz and I went for free because on Fridays after 6pm there is free entry for anyone under 25. This gave us four hours to tour the museum. Hardly enough time to view even one wing, but for me it was the perfect amount of time to spend there for one day.

Here we are in front of I. M. Pei's pyramid. Now I must insert the fact that I. M. Pei also designed the Indiana University Art Museum.

Of course I saw the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, but I think my favorite collection was Napoleon's apartments. Chandeliers the size of a VW bug.
