Back Home Again In Indiana

I got exactly nine bug bites while sitting around a camp fire next to a corn field, several cows, and a lamb. I know I'm in Indiana now. While I rather enjoy the cows and the fields, I had been enjoying a bug-bite free summer even more.

Hopefully the predicted thunderstorms will come through tomorrow, and I can finally run around in my first rain since the night before I left for California.

  1. If you were lying in the streets of Mexico yelling "Ayudame", people would definitely help you. I've been in much less dramatic situations and received excellent assistance from Mexicans. :)

Regarding bugs, I seem to have a lot of them in my bedroom. I killed the most ridiculously large bug ever that I found in my bathroom last night ... I don't even know what type of bug it is. I really don't think I had ever seen a bug that big. I often let bugs go on living when I find them, even inside (at least partially due to laziness), but this one had to go. I did not want to wake up and find it in my bed.

  2. ps -- The bug was a roach. I just looked up pictures of roaches online to see. It was. Ew.
